What does a luxury apartment clean include?
A luxury apartment or condo clean is a full clean of the home, ceiling fans to floors, worked from a written scope: the kitchen including inside the oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, cabinets and drawers; bathrooms descaled and disinfected; baseboards, doors, switch plates and window sills wiped; blinds and ceiling fans dusted; closet shelves and rods; and every floor vacuumed and mopped. Finish-sensitive surfaces are listed at the walkthrough and cleaned to that list.
Included in the written scope
- Kitchen: oven, cooktop, fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher door and gasket, cabinet and drawer interiors, counters, backsplash, sink and fixtures
- Bathrooms: tub, shower walls and glass descaled, toilet including base and behind, vanity inside and out, mirrors and fixtures
- Bedrooms and living areas: closet shelves and rods, baseboards, doors and frames, switch plates and outlets, window sills, blinds and ceiling fans
- Floors: hard floors vacuumed and damp-mopped, carpet vacuumed, stair treads and risers
- On request: interior window glass and tracks, wall washing, carpet extraction, and pulling out the fridge and range to clean behind them
- Products on request: EPA-registered disinfectants and green or low-odor products
How do you protect stone, brass and other high-end finishes?
With a finish list written at the walkthrough. High-end apartments and condos carry the same materials as a luxury commercial space, and the wrong product damages them in ways cleaning cannot undo. Honed limestone, travertine and polished marble get neutral-pH cleaner only. Unlacquered brass and bronze are wiped, never polished. Matte black fixtures get a neutral cleaner and a soft cloth. Hardwax-oiled wood gets a barely damp cloth, dried immediately. Fluted and low-iron glass is worked by hand. Move-in, move-out or deep clean: which one do I need?
It depends on what the home looks like when the last box leaves. An empty, lived-in apartment needs a move-out clean, and a move-in clean uses the same scope before your furniture arrives. A home with baked-on grease, heavy scale or smoke film needs a heavy-duty deep clean, worked from ceilings down, dry before wet, in degreasing and descaling passes. Property managers turning units in a Class A community, and owners between guests or tenants, should start with make-ready and turnover cleaning. Not sure? How does the quote work, and when is the deposit due?
Send the address, photos and the date the home must be ready, or book a walkthrough. We write the scope room by room, list the finish-sensitive surfaces, and put the price in writing before any work starts. A 50% deposit is required to book. If anything found on site falls outside the written scope, it is raised with you before it is touched. Before the clean, the home should be empty or the items that stay clearly marked, water and power should be on, and access should be settled with the building. Can you provide a certificate of insurance for my building?
Yes. Bailey & Bear Cleaning carries general liability insurance, and a certificate of insurance is available on request. Many high-rise and managed buildings ask for one before granting access, so request it with the quote and tell us who the certificate should name. We have cleaned in Austin since 2017.

Yes. EPA-registered disinfectants and green or low-odor products are available on request. Tell us when you send photos, and the products are written into the scope.
